Overview
Decisioning runs deep into the human psyche.
People form allergies which profoundly guide, or misguide, their behavior.
Famously, there's one stock Warren Buffet failed to pick: his own. Why did he never buyback shares of Berkshire, if indeed he felt confidence in his models? He rues the needless delivery of hundreds of billions to random, happenstance, 1960s-era shareholders of the Berkshire textile factory in upstate New York. He could have remedied that case with a stroke of the pen. Why didn't he?
Could we explain this quixotic behavior with mental allergies? Was he allergic to the *idea* of buying in, versus buying out?
He famously also never ventured. Why not? He's rich. He's smart. Why never create? Again, does he suffer an allergy?
