Overview
For centuries we've adapted our cultures and lives to technology.
The plow, the loom, the car, the fridge, the computer.
Sometimes that means enablement. Other times it causes disfigurement.
Is now the time for technology to finally cater to us? "Coding in English" is one case study. But how much further can this go? Assume smart agents, soft and hard, will increasingly work on our behalf.
What do we strive for at that point? Cheap calories? Fast love? A "college degree"?
What if Glove Theory is our northstar? Round in favor of selfishness. For example, instead of citing self-control, say "Doordash, stop selling me junkfood!"
